1981: A small shop opened its doors in the heart of Salzburg...
... with attention and love for details and for Austrian loden.
Its named Gaisberger...
Because of the namegivers Renate and Bernhard Gaisberger, equipped with personality, creation and motivation, this small shop got a real great number and satisfied with traditional clothes made out of finest fabrics...
With buttons made of deer antler, so perfectly finished that the deers provided there horns voluntary.
Finest blouses, blazers and velvet trousers, that the people who wear it enjoy their lifes with a smile on their faces...
And nearby naughty fresh, seasonal colors, even Mother Nature got jealous on their handcraft expertise.
Many years later...
let`s get forward to the year 2013.
Mr. Gaisberger and his sister Margret reached everything they wanted, they are happy and pleased when looking back to their lifetime achivement and decided to get into theire well-deserved retirement. Not at least to give their work a new chance, a new oppurtunity for the next generation.
It did not last long, until someone knocked at their door and a lady full of enthusiasm, motivation and passion for Traditional Clothes Couture stood in front of their house.
From this point, the new path was clear:
Gaisberger Couture - handmade with passion and love.
A story full of new ideas and impressions starts, so comprehensible and honest that it puts a magical smile on everyones faces whom get it told and from the first touching moment with the precious collection, nobody is able to deny it.
Fabric, pattern, colors all matching together perfectly and everything is made in beautiful Austria - impossible?
No, because the best quality contributes an essential part of combining values, targets and visions with tradition, to guarantee the fine finishing and the perfect fitting.
Andrea Mojescick-Plieschnegger
designed her first traditional clothes at her parental home in St.Donat (region St.Veit) in Carinthia at the age of 16.
Today she is doing 600 "or more" Designs every year and is chief designer for three traditional clothes companys in Austria and Germany.
Medial attention isn`t new for her, with her fashion she did it on the cover from the "Münchner Merkur" magazine and she was a part of Germanys next Topmodel in Las Vegas, where an audience of millions watched her latest designs out of her younger collection "Krüger Madl". She was aboard for the turning operations and also had a place in the jury.
Always on the run for new ideas, she is on the way worldwide. "I`m always searching for new things and something special. Wherever I am, I always visit museums and small extraordinary shops."
She has an hugen archive of suppliers from all over the business - lace-embroidery from Vorarlberg, silk-weaver from Lower Austria, Linings and laces from Spain, printed fabrics from Italy and silk from India.
The takover
from Miss Mojeschick-Plieschnegger was an important move in the right direction - the right decision at the right time.
Back to the present.
Since the takeover a lot of things changed... Miss Mojeschick-Plischnegger got back to her roots - to design and create emotional colletions everything has to fit perfectly and the environment has to be in the correct shape. She created an Design- and Development Centre in the near by Klagenfurt - it`s so breathtaking and unique, that everybody who visit it is amazed by the historical flair.
This 120 year old house is renovated to an amazing atelier, all this latest trends in the business of traditional clothes are come into being here - developing & designing to inspire all the customers again and again.
